g) Los pobladores las consideraban en sus orígenes un hábitat transitorio hacia un
“posible” y anhelado ascenso social, expectativa que no logró concretarse para la
mayoría de sus habitantes;
h) Los pobladores son trabajadores poco calificados o informales. Actualmente los
habitantes de las villas muestran la heterogeneidad de la pobreza, albergando a
“antiguos” villeros, nuevos migrantes (del interior y de países limítrofes) y sectores
pauperizados;
i) Sus habitantes son portadores de adscripciones estigmatizantes por parte de la
sociedad y de su entorno. Los habitantes sostuvieron diversas demandas con el objeto de
