Sin proceder a resolver la solicitud de reconsideración, el Pleno del Congreso de los Diputados, convocado previamente al efecto, decide por mayoría tomar en consideración la Proposición de reforma Constitucional, así como tramitarla de manera directa y en lectura única.
Es a la finalización del Pleno del Congreso de ese mismo día cuando el Presidente de la Cámara comunica a los y las Diputadas que el plazo de presentación de enmiendas finaliza dos días después, es decir, el 1 de septiembre de 2011.
